OUR STORY - Background, Mission & Vision

Our Background

Nelson Boxing and Athletic Club provides a safe, fun and supportive environment for athletes in the West Kootenay region. We have been a member of the BC Amateur Boxing Association since September 2013, and are affiliated with other clubs in BC (Kelowna, Vernon and Cranbrook), Alberta and Washington State.

Our Mission

To improve the fitness, self esteem and overall health of participants, and to provide the opportunity to progress and excel in one of the oldest and most popular sports in the world. We strive to instill self-respect and respect for others; and values such as fair play, discipline and sportsmanship.

Our Vision

Nelson Boxing and Athletics Club is a safe and constructive environment for youth to develop themselves - both in the sport of boxing, and in life.
